A Quiet Reflection

Looking back, The Quiet Reflection exhibition held during Stockholm Design 2018 was a catalyst that made the Ariake brand and laid down the marker of how an unusual exhibition venue combined with astute curation and styling can create unforgettable experiences that live long in the memory.

The exhibition was held in a run down, 300 square metre private apartment that used to be residence of the Mexican ambassador to Sweden in Ostermalm, Stockholm. The apartment was cleaned up with the help of the designers and a contemplative and slow atmosphere created with the curation of Hanna Nova Beatrice and astute eye of Finnish stylist Annaleena Leino. The venue address was not publicly published and sent by email to press and friends of the industry to avoid over crowding the residential building and the feedback for those who came were resoundingly positive.
