The House of Making

The House of Making brought together five design brands under one roof at Asia House, during 3daysofdesign 2026 in Copenhagen. Curated by Gabriel Tan, the exhibition united Origin Made, Ariake, Ladies & Gentlemen Studio, Parachilna, and Zimmer & Rohde across the rooms of a historic building, each brand distinct in geography and medium, collectively articulating a shared commitment to the artistry of craft. The result was less a trade show and more a house: layered, lived-in, and shaped by the hands behind each object.

The showcase marked the public debut of Origin Made's 2026 Evolution collection — the brand's most expansive to date, with over twenty new designs spanning furniture, lighting, rugs, and objects. Where previous collections drew from craft traditions across Portugal and Spain, Evolution extends the map with new partnerships with artisans in Indonesia and Japan.
